Connect dialnote with helpdesk platforms like Zendesk and Freshdesk

When your phone system and helpdesk work together, support tickets get the full picture — call recordings, transcripts, and AI summaries all attached automatically. dialnote is building direct integrations with the most popular helpdesk platforms so your team can stop copying information between tools.

Planned Integrations#

dialnote will support direct connections with these helpdesk platforms:

  • Zendesk — Automatically create and update tickets from calls, attach recordings and transcripts, and sync contact data between systems.
  • Freshdesk — Log calls as ticket activities, push AI summaries to ticket notes, and keep customer records in sync.
  • Zoho Desk — Link call history to support tickets, attach transcripts, and sync contacts with your Zoho Desk account.
  • Intercom — Connect phone conversations with Intercom chats, attach call data to customer profiles, and create conversations from calls.

Each integration will support automatic syncing of call data, recordings, transcripts, and AI-generated summaries directly into your helpdesk tickets.

Connect Today with Webhooks#

You don't have to wait for native integrations. dialnote's webhook system sends real-time call data that you can route to any helpdesk platform right now.

What gets sent:

  • call.completed — call details, duration, direction, and participants
  • call.recording.completed — recording URL and transcript summary
  • note.created — notes added to a conversation

Go to Settings → Webhook Management to set up a custom webhook endpoint. Each webhook delivers one event type, signed with HMAC so your endpoint can verify it. Your helpdesk platform's API can receive these events and create or update tickets automatically. Check out the webhooks documentation for setup details.

Connect with Zapier#

For a no-code option, use dialnote's Zapier integration to connect with your helpdesk:

  1. Create a Zap with dialnote as the trigger app
  2. Pick your trigger — dialnote offers two Zapier triggers: Call Log (fires on a completed call) and Call Recording (fires when a recording is ready)
  3. Choose your helpdesk as the action app (Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom, and Zoho Desk are all available on Zapier)
  4. Map the fields — route call data, transcripts, and summaries to the right ticket fields

This approach works today and doesn't require any coding. You can create tickets from missed calls, attach AI summaries to existing tickets, or update customer records after every conversation.

What's Next#

We're actively building these integrations. When they launch, you'll get one-click connections, automatic syncing, and deeper features like ticket status updates that route calls to the right agent. Stay tuned for updates in your dialnote dashboard.

In the meantime, set up the building blocks you'll need:

  • Webhooks — send call events to your helpdesk's API
  • Zapier — no-code ticket automation
  • CRM integrations — connect HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive today
  • AI summaries — auto-generated call notes worth pushing into tickets
